This turns in to rejection and loneliness: accusation and crucifixion.
Yes, that is what we see in the life of Jesus. It was a contrast between the moments of acceptance and rejection. The holy week is a concentrated time of these experiences.
But let us look at Jesus. He goes very calm and serene- as some one, who already knew about this end. Because Jesus knew the nature of humans. He knew they will rejoice with the happy and will leave the week and humbled alone to suffer.
