എല്ലാ പ്രാര്ത്ഥനകളും നിറവേറുമൊ?
മനുഷ്യര്ക്ക് പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയെക്കുറിച്ചു ഇങ്ങനെ നിരവധി ചോദ്യങ്ങള് ഉണ്ട്.
അത്പോലെ തന്നെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയില് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന നിരവധിപേരുമുണ്ട്.
പരീക്ഷയില് ജയിക്കാനായി, നല്ല ഒരു ജോലിക്കായി, ചില രോഗങ്ങള് മാറാനായി, ഒക്കെ നമ്മള് പ്രാര്ത്ഥന ആവശ്യപ്പെടാറുണ്ട്. പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കാറുമുണ്ട്.
ഇപ്രകാരമുള്ള പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയുടെ വശങ്ങളാണ് ഇന്നത്തെ വായനകളില് നാം കേള്ക്കുന്നത്.

In today's readings we hear about two types of hosts.
In the first reading it was Abraham and in the Gospel the known sisters,
Marta and Mary.
We listen in Genesis, how Abraham received his guests.
He was compelling them to accept the invitation.
Because he who knew the heat and traps in the desert.
He knew how difficult it was to travel through such a desert.
He ordered his servents to prepare a tender, choice steer, fresh bread, curds and milk for the guests...His treat was hearty.
Because he is the “father of the people”, who respected guests.
In india there is a saying:“Athidhi devo bhava”.

ഇന്നത്തെ വായനകളില് രണ്ടു കൂട്ടം ആതിഥേയരേയാണ് നാം കണ്ടുമുട്ടുന്നത്.
ഒന്നാം വായനയില് അബ്രാഹാമും സുവിശേഷത്തില് മാര്ത്തയും മറിയവും.
അബ്രാഹം തന്റെ സന്ദര്ശകരെ സ്വീകരിച്ചത് എങ്ങനെയെന്ന് വചനം പറയുന്നുണ്ട്. അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ നിര്ബന്ധത്തിനു വഴങ്ങിയാണ് അവര് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ക്ഷണം സ്വീകരിച്ചത്. ( ചില സിനിമകളില് ചില ടൂറിസ്റ്റ് ഗൈഡ്കള് ടൂറിസ്റ്റ്കളെ ആകര്ഷിക്കുന്നപോലെ).
മരുഭൂമിയുടെ ചൂടും ക്ഷീണവും അറിഞ്ഞിരുന്ന അബ്രാഹം അവരെ സത്യത്തില്
നിര്ബന്ധിക്കയായിരുന്നു. കൊഴുത്ത കാളക്കുട്ടിയും ചൂടുള്ള അപ്പവുമായി അവന് അവരെ ഹൃദയപൂര്വ്വം സത്കരിച്ചു.
അതിഥിസത്കാരം മഹാപുണ്യമായി കണക്കാക്കിയിരുന്ന ഒരു ജനമായിരുന്നു അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ വംശം. തന്റെ ഈ പ്രവര്ത്തിയിലൂടെ അബ്രാഹം അത് ഒരിക്കല് കൂടെ തെളിയിച്ചു.
"അതിഥി ദേവോ ഭവ:” - അതിഥിയെ ദേവനായി കാണുക എന്നത് ഭാരതസംസ്കാരത്തില് അലിഞ്ഞു ചേര്ന്നിട്ടുള്ള ഒന്നായതിനാല് അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ ചെയ്തിയെ മനസ്സിലാക്കാന് നമുക്കാകും. ഇവിടെയും മറ്റൊന്നല്ല സംഭവിക്കുന്നത്.
അതെ, അബ്രാഹം തന്റെ പ്രവര്ത്തിയിലൂടെ ദൈവസ്പര്ശം അറിഞ്ഞു. മക്കളില്ലാത്ത ആ ദമ്പതികള്ക്ക് മക്കളെ വാഗ്ദാനംചെയതിട്ടാണ് ആ അതിഥികള് പോയത്.

ഒരു കഥയുണ്ട്-
ഒരിക്കല് മനുഷ്യന് തന്നിലുള്ള വിശ്വാസം പരീക്ഷിക്കാനായി ദൈവം മാലാഖമാര്ക്ക് ചുമതല നല്കി.
അങ്ങനെ മുഖ്യദൂതന്മാരുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്
സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് മാലാഖാമാരുടെ മഹാസമ്മേളനം നടന്നു.
അതില് ധാരാളം ആശയങ്ങള് ഉയര്ന്നുവന്നു.
ചിലര് പറഞ്ഞു, "നമുക്ക് മനുഷ്യനെ സമ്പത്ത് കൊണ്ട് മൂടാം.
അപ്പോള് അവന് ദൈവത്തെ മറക്കും.”
ചിലര് പറഞ്ഞു: "നമുക്ക് അവനെ പുരോഗമന ചിന്ത നല്കി, പുരോഗതിയിലേയ്ക്ക് നയിക്കുകയാണെന്ന തോന്നല് ഉളവാക്കാം.
അപ്പോള് അവന് ജീവിതമൂല്യങ്ങളും ഒപ്പം ദൈവത്തെയും മറന്നോളും.”
വേറെ ചിലര് പറഞ്ഞു. "അവനു അധികാരവും അഹങ്കാരവും നല്കാം.read more...--

The Readings of this Sunday have a Common theme.
It is about the happiness and Joy.
“Rejoice with Jerusalem and be glad because of her, all you who love her;“
So starts Jesaja's words in the first reading.
It also deals with the consolation and comfort of God that overflow us as a mother's love and care.
The reading from the Galatians by St Paul is giving the same message.
He asserts the sign of Jesus in him even in his Cross and sufferings.
