Honestly ;
to understand certain points of the Gospel of this sunday
was bit difficult for me.
Because the steward was not a good one, any way at the beginning.
He was not good at his job and got caught.
Even then he does something not very good at all:
Because he manipulates the promissory notes of his lord's debtors.
Nevertheless, he was praised and Jesus says nothing negative about it ...
Yes, that was my dilemma ....
I think, some of you too will have this problem... Isn't it so?

But now I understand Jesus and his words.
He praises not this wrong kind of administration,

ആണ്ടുവട്ടത്തിലെ 25-)o ഞായര്‍ – C- Lk 16, 1-13

സത്യംപറഞ്ഞാല്‍ ഇന്നത്തെ സുവിശേഷഭാഗം മനസ്സിലാക്കാന്‍ എനിക്കും അല്പം ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. കാരണം ഇതില്‍ പറയുന്ന കാര്യസ്ഥന്‍ നല്ല ഒരാളായിരുന്നില്ലല്ലോ .അയാള്‍ തന്റെ കടമ ശരിയായി നിറവേറ്റിയില്ലെന്നുമാത്രമല്ല , പിടിക്കപ്പെട്ടപ്പോളും ശരിയായിട്ടല്ലല്ലോ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചത്. തന്റെ യജമാനനു ലഭിക്കാനുള്ള കടങ്ങള്‍ അയാള്‍ ഇളവുചെയ്തുകൊടുത്തില്ലേ . എന്നിട്ടും യേശു അയാളെ വിമര്‍ശിക്കുന്നില്ല. സുവിശേഷത്തില്‍ അയാള്‍ തന്‍റെ യജമാനനാല്‍ പ്രകീര്‍ത്തിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു താനും... ഇതായിരുന്നു എന്റെ പ്രശ്നം.
ഈ പ്രശ്നം പലര്‍ക്കും ഉണ്ടെന്ന് ഞാന്‍ കരുതുന്നു...

എന്നാല്‍ ഇപ്പോള്‍ യേശുവിന്റെ വാക്കുകള്‍ എനിക്ക് മനസ്സിലാകുന്നു.
കാര്യസ്ഥന്‍റെ അവിശ്വസ്തതയെയല്ല ,
മറിച്ചു അയാളിലെ രണ്ട് പ്രത്യേകതകളാണ് യേശു പ്രകീര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നത്.

ഒന്നാമതായി അയാള്‍ തന്റെ കുറവ് മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നു :
തന്റെ ഉദ്യോഗജീവിതത്തിന്റെ അവസാനമാണതെന്നറിയുന്ന അയാള്‍
തന്‍റെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തികളെ നീതീകരിക്കാന്‍ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നില്ല , ദയ യാചിക്കുന്നുമില്ല....ആണ്ടുവട്ടത്തിലെ 25-)o ഞായര്‍ – C- Lk 16, 1-13

ആണ്ടുവട്ടത്തിലെ 23-)o ഞായര്‍ -C- Philm 9b-10.12-17_Lk 14,25-33

ബന്ധങ്ങള്‍ നമുക്ക് ഒരിക്കലും ഒഴിവാക്കാനാകാത്ത ഒന്നാണ്. അതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് പ്രമുഖ ഭാരതീയ തത്വശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞനായിരുന്ന യിദ്ധു (Jiddu) കൃഷ്ണമൂര്‍ത്തി പറയുന്നത് ഇപ്രകാരം:
“ബന്ധങ്ങള്‍ എന്നത് കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ക്കലാണ്. വ്യത്യസ്ത ആശയങ്ങളാല്‍ അകറ്റപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് ഇത് അസാധ്യം.”

എന്നാല്‍ ഇന്നത്തെ സുവിശേഷഭാഗത്തിലൂടെ യേശു മറ്റൊന്നാണ് നമ്മോട്‌ പറയുന്നത്. ദൈവത്തെ അനുഗമിക്കണമെങ്കില്‍ നാം പലതും ഉപേക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടിവരും .
അവിടെ മാതാപിതാക്കളെന്നോ , സഹോദരരെന്നോ , വ്യത്യാസമില്ല.

Sermon thoughts – 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time -C – Philm 9b-10.12-17_Lk 14,25-33

We know that relationships are very important for our life.
We need them . “Relationship means contact , connectedness . There can be no ties where people are separated by ideas.” the famous indian Philospher Jiddu Krishnamurti explains relations in this way.

But today's Gospel says another story:
Jesus says, we should abandon everything to follow God.
He says God is more important than any relationship to our mothers, fathers and siblings.
...
How we can we avoid our parents and relatives? It is really hard to live:
